With his nightmares escalating daily, Yumeji is left one night with the words “the boss will come to see you soon” by a cat he meets every night. Then suddenly going home from school, he is dragged into a dream and attacked by a demon named John Doe. John Doe tells Yumeji to give him his body so that he can enter the real world. Just when his situation seems hopeless, Yumeji is helped by a girl demon named Merry who has lost her memory and gotten lost in the real world. Merry is struggling to find a way to return to the dream world, and Yumeji decides to help her since she helped him. Why are these demons coming to the human world?
