Aim for the Bouquet asks the question "would you want to marry the mystery celebrity?" This format's unique feature is a "voice audience" made up of 100 single men when the guest celebrity is female, or single women when the guest is a man. After each question, the voting audience decides whether they approve of the celebrity's answer. While the viewer can see and hear the celebrity guest, the celebrity's identity is electronically hidden from the voting audience who, uninfluenced by any preconception, form their opinions based only on the answers given. Conflict, humor and surprising results build to the dramatic conclusion.

It all began quite suddenly. Akihito, who appears human but is actually half yōmu with the power to quickly heal himself, sees a freshman girl who appears ready to jump from the school rooftop. The girl, Mirai, who has the ability to manipulate blood, which is unique even among members of the spirit world, continues to fight her isolation. Akihito decides in that moment to save Mirai, but disturbing events soon begin to unfold.

Hiro was an ace pitcher in junior high school, until he was diagnosed with a “glass elbow.” After giving up on the sport for a time, his passion for the game draws him back to it in high school and he joins a baseball team only to find himself in a match against his old rival Hideo who plays for the highest ranked high school. The meeting of the two is observed by Hideo’s girlfriend, Hikari, and she finds herself increasingly drawn towards Hiro, despite his only being interested in baseball. These two young men battle for the dream of winning the famous Koushien Baseball Tournament and for the heart of the young woman who doesn’t know for whom she should cheer.

Four high school girls join the Light Music Club to save it from being abolished when all of its members graduate. Although most of them don’t have much experience playing a musical instrument, they all decide to give it a shot. Yui, who originally misread the club name and joined thinking it was something else, decides to stay and take up the electric guitar. Ritsu is the president of the club and plays the drums because they are “cool.” Mio, the smart but shy one, is the base guitarist of the band. Gentle child of affluence, Tsumugi, plays the keyboards since she has experience winning piano contests. In their sophomore year, the wide-eyed freshman Azusa lends her considerable guitar skills to finally form the five member band, After School Tea Time. Now they just need to stop having tea parties and get busy practicing... as if!

The setting is Futakotamagawa Gakuen High School. Upset that the baseball club has been forced to suspend its activities after a scandal caused by one of its members, the boys have slipped into delinquency. This is an inspiring story of blood, sweat and tears as Kawato, the dedicated schoolteacher, tries to open up communications with the toughs through baseball, and we see the boys clawing their way back from delinquency as they set their sights on Koshien despite their lack of skill.
