“Batsu Bidding” is a studio based entertainment program with big impact humor. An auction is held where contestants try to become the winning bidder for the right to humiliate themselves. The contestant with the most outrageous suggestion wins the bid. However, prize money is only awarded to those winning bidders who step outside the studio and successfully complete the stunt. Laughter is the goal and viewers are richly rewarded.

A medical thriller based on Takeru Kaido's novel, Black Forceps 1988, protagonist Seishiro Tokai is a surgical genius whose perfect operational success rate has earned him the monikier, “The Demon of O.R.” at the Tojo University Hospital, a name that also points to his overbearing and solitary personality. He is countered by a rookie physician, Gonta Takashina, who comes to the hospital from a different medical university advocating hard for cutting edge medical technology that promises to render individual differences in surgical skill obsolete and level the playing field among surgeons. Naturally, a battle brews Takashina and Tokai who is adverse to the idea of machines taking over surgical procedures, particularly with regard to cardiac surgery. Tokai also confronts a powerful university hospital system that is rife with jealousies and political intrigue, and seeks to expose a hidden past and new technology corruption scandal in this highly entertaining medical drama.

With help from his friends FLUFFY (polar bear) and SPICY (hedgehog), CHAT explores different parts of Japan and takes on unique and daring activities, to create an exciting MeowTube video that will garner the most ‘LIKES’ !

A brain surgeon, Jin Minakata, is hurtled back in time to the Edo period at the time of the fall of the Tokugawa government. He finds himself having to save lives without the luxury of modern medical equipment or medicine, and unwittingly thrown into the middle of the tumultuous political times. Taking to heart the words, “God only presents you with challenges that you can overcome,” Jin endeavors to make the most of his new lot in life, as if convinced that he will rediscover something in the past which he has lost in the present. Awash in a different time and a different world of epic scale and grandeur, Jin finds that history now turns on him.

Shizuku Miyama aims to become a doctor and follow in the footsteps of her father, Katsumi. “I want to make him proud,” she thinks. But when Katsumi expresses his disapproval toward his daughter becoming a doctor, Shizuku rebels and attends med school anyway on a scholarship. She makes it to her first year of residency where together with 4 other same-year interns she is assigned to the front lines of emergency medicine at the hospital’s critical care center. With only 6 months of medical practice behind them, these five interns lack sufficient life-saving skills, but through daily contact with experienced colleagues and contact with patients, find themselves maturing into full-fledged doctors and adults under the unforgiving life or death pressures of the emergency room.

These "superhumans," who each possess a unique but not particularly useful talent, partake in this unpredictable game show which may see a Guinness world record holder be defeated by a young child.
